The Harbury Beer & Cider Festival

The Harbury Beer & Cider Festival has taken place since 1991, with just three missed years, on the Friday and Saturday following the August Bank Holiday Monday in Harbury Village Hall. Every year the festival has a different theme.

DATES

The 2024 Harbury Beer & Cider Festival is our 31st festival and promises to be a very special occasion and please reserve 30 & 31 August 2024 in your diary. THE ADVANCE TICKET STORE IS NOW OPEN.

OPENING TIMES

Friday 30 August:  15:00 – 23:00
Saturday 31 August: 11:00 – 23:00

THEME

We will have 31 different beers, mostly from Northamptonshire, with a few from some of our best local breweries. For lovers of apples and pears there will also be a selection of ciders and perries for you to enjoy.

The beer and cider lists are at the bottom of this page.

COST

Festival entry on the door costs £20 for single-day entry or £35 for two-day entry (see below for savings you can make by buying advance tickets). For this you get:

  • £12 (£12 each day if you buy a two-day ticket) of beer/cider tokens, or £15 (£15 each day if you buy a two-day ticket) for CAMRA members on production of a membership card. Unused tokens are refundable or can be donated to charity. Additional tokens are available to buy on the door.
  • a choice of a commemorative festival glass (while stocks last) or a glass of your choice from a previous festival. The glass is yours to take home.
  • a festival programme with detailed tasting notes of all the beers and ciders.
  • a display from the Hereburgh Morris Dancers on the Saturday afternoon and live music from the brilliant local covers band Muve-On from 8pm on the Saturday evening.

Card payments are preferred but you can also pay by cash.

ADVANCE TICKETS

Tickets are always available on the door, but you also have the opportunity to buy advance tickets. Advantages are:

  • tickets are £18 for single-day entry or £33 for a two-day entry, a £2 saving compared to buying on the door.
  • a guaranteed commemorative festival glass (if you choose a Souvenir Pint Glass ticket option) – these are only available while stocks last to on the door entrants.

There is a limited number of advance tickets and the store closes one hour before the doors open, or earlier if sold out, so you are advised to book early. Please click or scan the QR code to go to the store.
