Keeping with our tradition of alternating between speciality and area themes, 2017 was an area theme. Beers featured were from Peak District and North Derbyshire supplemented by local beers.

Brewed as a one-off for St. George's day it went down so well it made a number of re-appearances since for significant national events, and has a great following in bottle. A traditional bitter-style ale, the pale colour defies a rich maltiness normally associated with a darker ale. |

Chinook gives an intense bitterness, Cascade adds floral and fruity flavours and Citra is used at the end to give a characteristic tropical fruit aroma. The Dark Crystal malts add some rich caramel flavour to complement this. |
